We send weekly announcements through the School Messenger email system. We announce birthdays, top cats, and thumbs up for the week. We will announce the teacher's name as well as your student's first name (no last names or pictures). Please notify the office if you do not want us to announce your child's name on our internet broadcast announcements. Thank you.
Schedule of Events
* March to April 01, 2010 Cowley County Community College Clothing & Shoe Drive
* March 26, 2010 Star Base Field Trip (Cline & Parrott) at McConnell Air force Base. The bus leaves the Grade School at 8:30 and returns at 2:30.
* March 10, 2010 Reading Counts deadline
* March 11, 2010 4th Grade Music Program Practice at MHS in the morning (lunch schedule change).
* March 11, 2010 Reading Counts Parties
* March 11, 2010 Dental Screens 1:00 PM
* March 11, 2010 3rd Quarter Ends / Grade cards issued
* March 11, 2010 4th Grade Music Program at 7:00 PM in MHS Auditorium.
* March 12 - 21, 2010 NO SCHOOL Spring Break.
* March 22, 2010 Back to school.
* March 23, 24, 25, 2010 3rd & 4th Grades take Kansas Math Assessment (free breakfast for 3rd and 4th grade student who test on these days).
* March 30, 31, April 1, 2010 5th Grade take Kansas Math Assessment (free breakfast for 5thgrade student who test on these days).
* March 30, April 06, 13, 20, 27, 2010 Star Base Field Trip (Pound & Ward) at McConnell Air force Base. The bus leaves the Grade School at 8:30 and returns at 2:30.
* March 31, April 07, 14, 21, 28, 2010 Star Base Field Trip (Canfield & Goertz) at McConnell Air force Base. The bus leaves the Grade School at 8:30 and returns at 2:30.
